Kolkata holds the largest manmade lake built in 15th century known as Kankaria Lake. It was built for Muslim ruler Sultan Qutbuddin. The best time to visit this lake would be during the Kankaria Carnival. It’s a cultural and social festival. Wildlife enthusiasts can visit the Kamala Nehru Zoological Park that is spread over an area of 31 acres. It also offers multiple activities for every age.
