Day 1

Arrival in Sarajevo

DAY 1: Upon arrival in Sarajevo airport, our team will be there to welcome you and help you transfer to the hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure.

Day 2

Sarajevo to Jajce

DAY 2: After breakfast, check out and depart to Jajce, arriving around midday. Join a walking tour, including the AVNOJ Museum, where you will learn about Jajce's 20th-century history, and the 22-meter Pliva Waterfall in the town center. The evening is free for you to explore the narrow streets, relax by the river, or visit the 14th-century fortress for panoramic valley views. Transfer back to the hotel to check in for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Jajce to Mostar

DAY 3: After breakfast, check out and depart south toward Mostar, with a stop in Livno. From Livno, 4WD vehicles will bring you up Cincar Mountain for mountain views and an off-road excursion to observe wild horses, with approximately 400 to 800 roaming the Dinaric Alps foothills. You will then continue to Mostar to visit Stari Most, the iconic stone bridge and symbol of reconciliation, known for its 450-year-old diving tradition. The evening features a guided walking tour of the historic city. Transfer to the hotel to check in for an overnight stay.

Mostar

DAY 4: After breakfast, depart to explore the Herzegovina region. You will visit Blagaj Tekke, a dervish monastery above the Buna River at the base of a cliff, where you can view Ottoman architecture and colorful rooms. In Stolac, you will sample traditional fig cake at a local family home. The day concludes with a short hike to Kravica Waterfall near Ljubuski, where you may swim and relax before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Mostar to Umoljani

DAY 5: After breakfast featuring local specialties, check out you will drive to Umoljani, a mountain village on the slopes of Bjelasnica. From there, a circular hike leads to Lukomir, the country's highest and most remote village at nearly 1,500 meters, with approximately 15 residents. The route passes through rolling mountains, and upon arrival, locals will welcome you into a home to sample homemade cheeses and meat pies, converse with villagers, and view the stone houses before returning to Umoljani for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Umoljani to Sarajevo

DAY 6: After breakfast check out and depart to Sarajevo and check into your hotel. A guided walking tour will introduce you to the city, including a visit to Nermina Alic's coppersmith shop. She learned her craft from her father and continues to use traditional methods to handcraft coffeepots, candleholders, and plates. As you walk through Bascarsija's narrow streets, you will notice that each lane is named after the traditional crafts once practiced there. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 7

Sarajevo

DAY 7: After breakfast, pack your belongings and check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport to catch the flight back home.
